Sights and Scenery

• Day 1: Arrival at Sofia airport. A transfer to the hotel in Sofia.
• Day 2: SOFIA - RILA MONASTERY A sightseeing tour of the city of wisdom.
• 
• Day 3: RILA MONASTERY - BANSKO A tour of the Rila Monastery, the largest and most famous Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria.
• Day 4: BANSKO - DOBERSKO - PLOVDIV A trip to the village of Dobersko to visit the 15th century church of "St.St.Theodor Tiron and Theodor Stratilat", with unique frescos and mural paintings.

• Day 5: PLOVDIV - BURGAS A sightseeing tour of Plovdiv - the "Old Town" and the Roman Amphitheatre.
• 
• Day 6: BURGAS - NESSEBUR - SHOUMEN
• 
• Day 7: SHOUMEN - VELIKO TURNOVO A visit to "Tombul" Mosque - 18th century and a panorama tour of the town of Shoumen. A sightseeing tour of the capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom in 12-14th century and a trip to the village-museum of Arbanassi. An optional tour of the unique performance "Light and Sound" in Tsarevets.

• Day 8: VELIKO TURNOVO - SOFIA A visit to Kilifarevo Monastery, Bozhentsi - an unique museum-village, and the Ethnographic complex of Etara.
• Day 9: Leisure time. Transfer to Sofia airport.
